Indocumentados usan bote pesquero para intentar ingresar a Estados Unidos
Esta práctica es común en la Florida pero no así en el Sur de California. De acuerdo a lo reportado por VíveloHoy:
Autoridades federales detuvieron ayer a 23 indocumentados mexicanos cuando ingresaban en un bote pesquero en aguas de La Jolla, en el tercer incidente registrado desde el sábado pasado.
El vocero de la Oficina de Aduanas y Protección de Fronteras (CBP) en San Diego, Vince Bond, informó que el bote de casi diez metros de eslora fue encontrado cerca de las 4 de la mañana en el Océano Pacífico.
Agentes de CBP detuvieron en el bote a 19 hombres y cuatro mujeres, todos nacionales de México, quienes fueron entregados a la Patrulla Fronteriza de San Diego.
