Gobierno de Estados Unidos pospone verificación de documentos inmigratorios E-Verify
De acuerdo a lo que informa Univision:
WASHINGTON, DC - El Gobierno de Estados Unidos aplazó hasta mayo la vigencia de una norma que exige que las empresas que tienen contratos con la administración verifiquen la situación migratoria de sus trabajadores.
Originalmente la medida, llamada E-Verify, debió entrar en vigencia el 15 de enero, pero grupos empresariales, incluyendo la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos, pidieron retrasarla hasta el 20 de febrero. Como consecuencia de la decisión del Gobierno, la medida entrará en vigencia el 21 de mayo.
